Chemical Peels

Rejuvinate your skin with chemical or enzymatic peels customized for your needs. Chemical peels can be safely done on any skin type or color. Peels can vary from light to moderate including medical grade peeling. The light peels will generally have no down time while the moderate to deeper peels are expected to have a few days of visible peeling and require increased protection from the sun for at least 2-3 weeks post treatment.

Signature Peel

These light peels are customized for your skin and will increase your glow, leaving the skin silky and radiant. They can be done as a stand-alone treatment or added to another procedure such as the HydraFacial or microdermabrasion.

Pumpkin Peel Plus

We have added extra sparkle to this popular gold standard light peel. Often done in the Fall, you can get glowing any time of the year with this peel which is often done as a single treatment or as an add-on after another anti-aging procedure.

Perfect DermaPeel

perfect dermapeel logo This moderately deep peel will give great results after each treatment. It is the only peel to include glutathione, the strongest anti-oxidant in our bodies, to protect from free radicals and oxidation damage to the cells. There will be 3-5 days of visible peeling after this treatment so timing is important. We recommend this treatment be done as a series of 3 for best results depending on the skin condition but it is always effective with visible results from the very first treatment. (Consultation is required prior to treatment.)

The Vi Peel and the Perfect DermaPeel are both mid-level peels done in the office by an experienced specialist to brighten, smooth and gently resurface the skin. Either can be used to correct multiple conditions such as discoloration, sun spots, melasma, acne, age spots, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

Who is a good candidate for these peels?

These peels are perfect for men and women of any skin color, light or dark. For those with darker skin, peels are a much preferred method of clearing the skin of sun spots, melasma and other discolorations over IPL and some types of lasers. They are also very good anti-aging treatments, especially when done in a series.

Are there any side effects?

There will be flaking and peeling of the superficial layers of the skin which begins on day 3 after application. The peeling lasts for 4 -5 days. As the skin peels away, newer, more radiant skin is revealed. Dark spots will also be decreased. PIH (Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) is a possible side effect if post-op instructions are not followed. Generally, it is not a problem. Allergy testing may be done prior to a full treatment if indicated.

How much does the peel cost?

Peel prices vary depending on the areas treated. Best results are achieved when they are done as a series of 3 or 4 treatments. Each treatment in a series costs less than individual treatments.
